Why You Need the Space Wolves Codex in Warhammer 40,000 If You're Using the Wolves

One of the most important things to know if you play Warhammer 40,000 is you need your respective armies codex. Every army in Warhammer 40K has a codex. These are books that tell you all about your fighting military and give you a lot of other background. In this report I'll be talking about why you need the Space Wolves codex in Warhammer 40,000 if you're using the wolves. This codex will give you points values for every kind of car and troop available to you. It will also give you a lot of back story and history of the wolves. There are even fully painted models in color that can give you ideas for paint schemes you might not have understanding of.

One of the first reasons why you need the Space Wolves codex in Warhammer 40,000 if you're using the wolves is, it gives you the point values of all your fighting forces. In order to play a game of 40k, you need to know how many points each unit will cost you. Points are the law that Games Workshop created to make sure that games are fAir. Each unit in the game is worth a determined number of points depending on how effective it is on the battlefield. The better the unit, the more expensive it is. You can't play a game without knowing the point values of your army.

The Wolves

Another conjecture why you need the Space Wolves codex in Warhammer 40,000 if you're using the wolves is, all the lore and background it contains. One of the best things about Warhammer 40,000 are the stories and backgrounds related with it. The wolves have a deep and rich history. Their codex talks about this in detail. It talks about their primarch Leman Russ and about their home planet Fenris. It even discusses the selection process that the wolves use to conclude who will be future wolves and who won't. If you're a lore junkie like me, this gives you a lot of great reading to do.

Why You Need the Space Wolves Codex in Warhammer 40,000 If You're Using the Wolves

The last conjecture why you need the Space Wolves codex in Warhammer 40,000 if you're using the wolves is, different paint task ideas placed in the book. There are 16 pages in full color that depict different Space Wolves units and vehicles. When you paint your models, you may not be sure what color task to use. The codex can give you some direction by giving you examples of how some of the painters at Games Workshop, painted their wolves models.

In closing, if you play any of the armies in the game of Warhammer 40,000,you will always need your armies codex. This book will give you all of the points costs of all things available to your army. Also, you will get a lot of lore and background on the Space Wolves and how they fit into the forty first millenia. You'll even get ideas for paint schemes for your models, from the 16 full-color pages that the codex contains. If you're planning on getting a Space Wolves army for Warhammer 40K be sure to go get yourself a wolves codex.

The Two Wolves - A Parable

Here's a astonishing Native American parable for you:

One of the Elders was teaching the young grandchildren about life one day and this is the story he told:

The Wolves

"There is a fight going on inside of me approximately each and every day... It's a terrible fight, in the middle of two wolves. One wolf is full of fear, anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentMent, inferiority, lies and pride. The other wolf is full of joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, truth, compassion and faith. This one prefers not to fight, but in order to survive, it must."

The Two Wolves - A Parable

"This same fight is going on inside of you and all people." He said.

The grandchildren belief for awhile and one asked, "Which one will win Grandfather?"

The old man replied, "The one I feed..."

We have the delight of interacting with many habitancy in the policy of a day, and we've all dealt with the ones who tend to feed the first wolf in the parable. They seem to enjoy sharing the darker side of their personality and to disregard the feelings of the other person.

The Recipient sometimes feels they must "react" in a way that maybe they would authentically rather not or, they become hurt because they believe the unkind man has the power to make them feel bad, (but they don't really). Far best to set the 'the more mighty wolf' on them and react with kindness and compassion.

That normally just ticks them off, those hurtful, inconsiderate ones, but what can you do? Just smile! maybe your kindness may one day teach them to 'feed the more mighty wolf' as well. Survival of the fittest and all that! Only the strong survive! Law of Nature! We shall overcome.

You know if you allow habitancy or the events in your life to sway your emotions by allowing them to get under your skin and just plain ticking you off, you are, in reality, allowing them to determine your very state of consciousness and in effect, allowing them to operate your life.

Don't do that! Why in the world would you give anybody operate of your emotions? Begin to feed the right wolf, he will be your faithful companion and safe all the rest of your days. Just a quick belief for you today... Be strong... Be gentle... Hell, just be... And breathe!!!

Two Wolves, and the Ways of Men - Feed the Good Wolf, and heighten Your Marriage

"Every disunion is the death of a small civilization". - Pat Conroy

There seems to be a resurgence in America of good old fashioned regard for the institution of marriage. It appears to be driven partly by a disdain for celebrity association 'adventurism', partly because of the state of the economy which, by itself has held couples together, partly, I believe, because there's a renovation of confidence in a more spiritual, less materialistic life. I believe we're turning away from consumerism, toward a society that values inner satisfaction over sell therapy and credit-card cures.

The Wolves

The economic seminar seems counterintuitive, considering that economic strains often drive people apart, which often leads to more satisfaction through shopping, which causes more length and on and on. But those same stresses can search a backlog of issues that are becoming irrelevant in comparison with holding the house together. I believe we're beginning to adDress some of those issues, and that the financial mess we're in has come to be a focal point of change, the silver lining, if you will. people are staying together. The trend is good news for the country, and the community.

Two Wolves, and the Ways of Men - Feed the Good Wolf, and heighten Your Marriage

The numbers are pretty remarkable. Between 1991 and 2002 the disunion rate fell in this country from the Census Bureau's often-cited 50% rate, the proportion of marriages taking place that will eventually end in divorce, downward to almost 43% by the National center for condition Statistics. Most recently, agreeing to the New York Times, it's been revised added downward to just over 40%. So that ordinarily heard half of all marriages end in disunion statistic we keep tossing around isn't true. Granted, 40% of marriages ending is still a sad comMentary on our ability to work out differences, and remain true to our wedding vows, but the trend is encouraging.

Are we marrying later? A bit. The mean age at marriage now is 26 for woMen and 27 for Men. Maturity all the time helps. But that can't elucidate it fully. Is disunion harder to obtain? Perhaps, or maybe the aforeMentioned maturity has made us more aware of those costs. disunion is a Billion (Yes, the 'B' word) Dollar business in the U.S. And the mean disunion costs about ,000. That realization would deter a lot of people.

But that can't be the whole reason. I believe there's a more humanistic answer here, and I believe it has to do with our evolving insight that marriage is truly a status to be entered into well, and given every chance to succeed.

I direct this piece at men, partly because, being one myself, I speak with a bit of authority on this issue. Plus, as a divorced man, my familiarity with it is doubly authoritative. I know first hand how disruptive and painful a disunion and disunion can be, and almost all the time are. Particularly when there are children involved, the anxiety, dashed expectations and unattractive outcomes cause all manner of reassessment of who we notion we were. disunion hurts a lot of people, and I believe the word is out on the street that disunion indeed sucks, deterring some from following that path too easily, or quickly. I can attest that it indeed does, and it indeed is.

We men have a unique chance to have an impact on this issue. Since we appear to be hard wired toward more individualism, less inclined to stay in one spot and try to flourish there, we need to look at a separate aspect of our male-ness, our respect and admiration for other mens' perseverance, especially when life gets tough, and others encourage us to result our own instincts. But we also need to be more aware, and more supportive of other mens' overtures toward their gentler, more human side. We all feel the urge to reach out to our spouses when things get tense. We're beginning to see that we can give in to those emotions, and still retain our identity as males in this culture, and perhaps even improve it. Along those lines there's a touching story that comes to us from the Cherokee Indians about two wolves.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is Between two wolves inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

'The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'

The grandson notion for a minute, and then asked his grandfather, 'Which wolf wins?'

The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'

Next time your spouse expects something from you that causes you to revert to the bad wolf, remember that expression, and feed the good wolf. Your marriage, and your self-image will be best for it. We men have, I believe, an obligation to our colleagues and ourselves, to admire those who feed the good wolf, encourage them to continue that behavior, and seek others like us to do the same.

Dogs - The Descendants of Wolves

All of us love them. They are very loving, loyal, group and even our best friends. Their calm eyes, elegant colour pattern and innocent voice entice our mind towards them. They are none other than our caring dogs. Dogs are mammals and belong to the class Mammalia, order Carnivora and family. Their scientific name is Canis. Dogs are the domesticated forms of the gray wolf. Dogs have been kept as pets from time immemorial by humans. The term dog is used for the male members of the canine species and the term bitch is used for the female members.

The common members of the dog family are foxes, jackals, bush dogs, African wild dogs and coyotes. The English word Dog comes from the Middle English word dogge which means a superior dog breed. The word bitch also comes from the Middle English word bicce. A group of dog offsprings is called as litter and the minuscule dogs are called as puppies. The father of the litter is called as sire and the mother is called as dam. The dogs are believed to be the ancestors of wolves. They have well advanced complex sets of behaviour. They way of transportation with the members of their own species as well with other species is drastically well advanced. The power of transportation and cognition in dogs has helped humans to train them for various tasks. The evolutionists as well as the archaeologists believe that dogs have descended from their wolf ancestors about 15,000 years ago.

The Wolves

Dogs have benefited humans in a amount of ways like by providing safety, feeding on reliable Food stuffs, requiring less caloric needs and quality to breed in captivity. They have optical quality in comparison to human beings. Dogs are also consumed as Food in the South-Asian countries as food. Apart from its usefulness they are also not free from the disease causing agents. The feaces of dog also acts as a source of hookworms that causes cutaneous larva migrans in humans. The dog bite is also harmful to humans. The dog-human bond leads a beneficial follow on the bodily health and psychological well being of man. In the enterprise of dogs the owners touch lesser risks of cardiovascular, behavioural and psychological levels of anxiety as is indicated by a study.

Dogs - The Descendants of Wolves

Modern dogs show marked variations in size, shape, colour, appearance and behaviour in comparison to other domestic animal. The morphology of the dogs has descended from their gray wolf ancestors. They are predators and scavengers and have well advanced muscles, fused Wrist bones, strongly set cardiovascular law and superior teeth for catching and tearing of the prey. Dogs also show difference in height and weight. The smallest known dog is the Yorkshire Terrier and the adults is only 6.3 cm in height straight through the shoulder and the tallest known dog is the Great Dane and it is 106.7 cm. The largest known dog is the English Mastiff and it is 155.6 kilograms in body weight. Like majority of mammals dogs have a dichromatic foresight which is comparable to the red-green colour blindness in the humans. The optical law of dog aids in hunting. Their optical acuity is poor but they can very well demarcate humans from longer distances which may be up to a mile. They have large pupils and very high density of rods in fovea with increased flicker rate and tapetum lucidum. Tapetum lucidum is a very reflective layer and aids in best vision.

The dogs of different breeds have different shapes of eyes, diMensions and retina configurations. Many long nosed breeds of dogs have a wide foveal region that gives them exquisite sense of vision. The sighthounds have a foresight up to 270°. Short nosed dogs also have a good foresight in comparison to humans as there is a patch called the area centralis having a high nerve provide that aids in best optical ability. Most breeds have good sense of foresight but some forms are myopic also.

The hearing quality of fogs is about 40Hz-60,000 Hz which means that they can detect sounds much best in comparison to humans. Their ears are very mobile and help them to detect the exact location of the sound. There are eighteen muscles in the ears of dog which achieve the function of hearing. Dog can hear sound much Faster than humans. The dog brain is dominated by olfactory cortex while human brain is dominated by optical cortex. The olfactory bulb of dogs is about times bigger as compared to that of humans and is supplied by 125-220 million smell sensitive receptors. The dogs can smell odours at concentrations 100 million times lower as compared to that of humans. The nose of the dog is all the time kept moist because it senses the direction of Air current containing odour. Cold receptors help the skin to remain cool by evaporating the moisture from the Air currents.

The domestic dogs have two types of coats. These contain common guard hairs and soft down hairs. The coats also help in security of the animal from the foes by showing camouflage. The tails may be straight, level up, sickle, curled or screw shaped. In the hunting species the tail is docked to avoid injuries. In some species the puppies are born either with a very small tail or the tail is absent. Dogs are also prone to diseases, poisons which may also influence humans. They are also vaccinated to remain free from diseases. Some breeds of dogs are also prone to some genetic problems like blindness, elbow or hip dysplasia, deafness, pulmonic stenosis, cleft palate and trick knees. The dogs are also attacked by the parasites like the fleas, ticks and mites. Hookworm, tapeworm, roundworm and heartworm also parasitize dogs. Dogs are very susceptible to theobromine poisoning. Theobromine is a chemical present in the chocolates especially the dark chocolate. This chemical is toxic to them and even small amounts may be fatal to them. They also suffer from heart disease, diabetes, epilepsy, cancer, hypothyroidism and arthritis.

The life span of the dogs varies surrounded by the breeds but on an midpoint it is 10-13 years. The breed Dogue de Bordeaux is having the shortest life span of only 5.2 years. The other breeds like minuscule Bull Terriers, Bloodhounds, and Irish Wolfhounds live for about 6-7 years. The breeds like the Toy Poodles, Japanese Spitz, Border Terriers, and Tibetan Spaniels have longest life span of about 14-15 years. Records have also shown that some dogs have lived for about 24 years too. The wild dogs like the wolves are the apex predators. Dogs are really captured and killed by the dogs. The diet of dogs is changeable and they are able to digest vegetables, grains as well as meat. A amount of human food products are toxic to dogs like the chocolate solids, garlic, raisins and grapes.

Dogs including both the sexes become sexually mature at the age of 6-12 months after their birth but in some larger breeds they may take 2 years to attain sexual maturity. After attaining sexual maturity the estrous cycle of the female dogs gets activated. The estrous cycle may occur biannually while which the body prepares the female for pregNancy. At the peak of the cycle the females become Mentally and physically receptive for copulation. The ovum released by the ovary is able to survive only for a week after ovulation so it is best for a female to mate with at least more than one male. The pups are born after 56-72 days after pregNancy but the period of gestation may vary with the breeds. The midpoint amount of litters born is six but it may vary with the breeds. Toy dogs yield about 1-4 pups at a time but the amount of litters may reach up to 12 in the larger breeds. In some breeds selective breeding has interrupted the natural process of pregNancy for example the males of French Bulldogs are unable to mount females. The females of this breed are artificially inseminated in order to continue their race.

The habitancy of the dog species is kept under operate in some countries by the process of neutering. Neutering is the process of sterilization of animals by the discharge of testicles of males or ovaries or uterus in female sin order to reduce the sexual drive. Dogs are very inspiring and their brain is requisite in the animal world. They bear good learning quality straight through reinforceMent and observation. They endure cognitive sTAGes of amelioration and a young dogs starts learning things at an early sTAGe say about 8 weeks after birth. Puppies learn really from the experienced dogs. Dogs also learn by the mimicking of humans. They also demonstrate group cognition. Dr. Cohen has done much work on the group cognitive behaviour of dogs. Dog's behaviour varies both genetically as well as with the environMental conditions.

Dogs differ from their wolf ancestors in having 20% small skulls, 30% small brains and small teeth. They wish only few fat in order to achieve their activities in comparison to the wolves. The jaw muscles have also undergone reduction because of the changed feeding habits. The skin is much thicker and the paws are also reduced in size in comparison to that of wolves. Dogs are poorer in observational learning but are best responsive to instrumental learning than wolves.

It can be extracted that dogs are very well adapted in the nature and are able to defend them in a best and unique way.

The Wolves Are Howling

Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, a West Point science of mind professor, Professor of forces Science, and author "On Combat", explains that there are three kinds of habitancy in this world.

First are the sheep who live in ignorance and only want to enjoy life's pleasures.

The Wolves

Then there are the wolves; those who prey on the sheep (criminals, terrorists, bullies, etc.)

The Wolves Are Howling

Finally there are the sheep dogs. That is, the habitancy whom protects the sheep from the wolves (martial artists, police officers, soldiers, etc.).

The big qoute is that the sheep generally don't much like us sheep dogs unless we are salvage their lives at that very moMent. Therefore many sheep in society tragically see no dissimilarity between dogs and wolves.

In order to good protect my loved ones and those whom would depend on me in a time of crisis, I do my best to keep up an active sheep dog lifestyle.

I train my mind and forge my body into a living weapon. Every day is a day to be at the gym, at the martial arts school, or on the firing range.

Needless to say the sheep nearby me don't understand it, and some have even called me things like "killer" and "savage." They say how they could never take the life of someone else human being and how it is morally wrong, even in self defense.

I just listen to their ignorant rantings and let them talk themselves into a hole.

Once they are desist telling me the most recent crap about how violence only begets more violence, I remind them about how bad the wolves can certainly be.

And after I quote the modern tragic tale of Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian down in Tennessee, the bullshit stops and my life choice doesn't seem so wrong.

Here's what I'm talking about...

The idea of a young join being murdered by a group of killers who seem more like monsters then Men is something out of a horror movie.

On Saturday, January 6, 2007 Christopher Newsom, Jr., 23, and Channon Gail Christian, 21, were out on a date enjoying themselves. They went to eat at a local restaurant and were supposed to head to a friends house to Watch movies, but they never made it.

The night from hell would begin when the young join was carjacked, bound and blindfolded, then taken back to presuppose Lemaricus Devall "Slim" Davidson's rented house.

Perhaps the young join only understanding they were being dumped someplace else and were only going to lose their Suv and a few personal items. They were dead wrong.

Once at the home the perpetrators brutally assaulted the join before killing them and dumping the bodies is seperate locations.

Right now Eric Boyd, George Geovonni, Thomas Lemaricus, Devall Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins and Vanessa Coleman who range in age from 18 to 34 are sitting in jail in Knoxville awaiting trial...Hopefully they will receive the death penalty as no one in their right mind could perhaps think that these monsters could be "rehabilitated".

These wolves need to be put down permanently.

I use this shocking story to remind others that wolves still walk among good people, and that there will always be a need for sheep dogs.

As always, the qoute certainly lay in that us sheep dogs can't always be nearby when self preservation comes into play.

Sheep need to be constantly reminded Never to give in to criminal and terrorist demands.

Never believe what they say, and Never comply or go along with them in hopes of avoiding violence, rape, or even death.

You have to fight for your life the instant you are threatened. And Only proven, legitimate, and docuMented martial arts and self defense training will help you survive. (Not the junk they teach down at the mini-mall, or the Ufc crap you see on Tv)

I can only feel sorry for Channon and Christopher, and I see what happened to them as someone else example of why I have to keep teaching Real self defense...We need more sheep dogs.
