Bratz, Barbie and Liv make way for the Monster High range of Dolls. They are way too cool and a bit freaky at the same time.

The adults might wonder what all the rage is about but the tweens and teens can't get adequate of them. Then to round out the bunch, there is Lagoona Blue, daughter of The Sea Monster and friend to everyone. She's the surfer girl and comes with her pet Neptuna.

The latest additions to the range are the Dawn of the Dance series consisting Cleo de Nile, Frankie Stein and Clawdeen wolf. Plus Goulia Yelps, Holt Hide and Gloom Beach doll sets. All come with their own gorgeous accessories and stand.

My Dad is one who thankfully has not become a statistic. He was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer at age 56 in 1992. The hint of his local oncologist was to treat with prostectomy, chemo and radiation. My Dad was not interested in radiation or chemo since he had already seen many friends die of the side effects of these treatMents. Soon after this my Dad's sister heard about a doctor at Stanford who was well respected for his work with prostate cancer. My Dad went to see him and his hint was for prostectomy only. He said he had tried chemo and radiation for prostate cancer and it just didn't work well. He also recomMended following up with a blood Psa test every year.

My Dad recovered from the surgery and proceeded to get his blood work done every year for the next 11 years. He had a itsybitsy increase in Psa in his last test and the Doctors did not say anything about it so he decided not to get it tested anymore. Three years later he went to the doctor feeling very Tired. In April 2006 they found his Psa to be over 300 and his x-rays and Pet scans confirmed wide osseous metastases throughout his spine, pelvis, ribs, and hips. The analysis from local oncologists was grim. They recommended radiation for pain, but not to cure the cancer. They also anticipated him to live roughly 6 months to 2 years.

He then tried an alternative clinic with varied treatments and a radical convert in diet for the next 6 months. This was not efficient for him. His next Pet scan was much worse and his Psa was over 700. He was in pain, not hungry and very lethargic.

He then read a book called "Outsmart Your Cancer" by Tanya Harter Pierce. He found she had written four chapters of twenty four about Protocel and every other medicine she had only written one chapter. He decided to try Protocel. It is an antioxidant available over the counter. It is a liquid that must be taken every 5 hours. The cost of this medicine is roughly per month. Within 4 weeks his pain had reduced and he had more energy. He continued with the Protocel for the next 6 months and improved significantly. He also went back to Stanford and received 2 injections of Lupron 2 months apart. He was told the Lupron may halt the cancer increase but would not reverse it.

In April 2007, one year after his analysis his Pet Scan Was roughly Clear of any bone metastasis. "Marked correction on the former pattern of wide osseous metastatic disease. No new bone lesions are seen and the former have nearly resolved." Thank God! We were so grateful and happy.

Now, I do worry about sex. No, no, not the normal stuff. Disease? Hell, I have more to worry about from high blood pressure and high cholesterol than disease. The thing I worry about the most will just elude you younger folks until you get to my age. You see, when you're younger and are getting it on with a partner you may worry about her squealing like a chipmunk or the girl they called Lassie in the original Porky's movie. If you're a girl in a motel you may have to worry about the guy getting into a rhythm and banging the headboard of the bed into the wall causing the neighbors in the next room to pound on the wall. At my age you worry about wrinkles. You categorically don't care about what the wrinkles look like. By the time you get to my age all has shifted so much you're a walking example of tectonic plate migration. No, you worry about wrinkles because, more than likely your partner will be covered with them too. Then, you don't care if she sounds like Lassie or he knocks the headboard against the wall, because as soon as you start in, both of you rubbing your wrinkles together will sound like person walking down the street in a new pAir of corduroys. That's gotta be a mood killer right off the bat. That's why I worry about wrinkles.

In your 20's you are involved with what bands the other person likes, what theme parks they like going to, even what movies are their favorites. In your 50's you have to wonder Either the other person still has all their own body parts and, if not, how do you ask which one's are missing or have been replaced without seeing out in an awkward intimate moMent. I mean, when you were younger and you woke up next to person you brought home the night before you might be shocked to find out the snored, drooled or were, egad, ugly! When you're my age you wake up next to person who probably does snore, assuredly drools, is ugly and has taken her teeth out and set them on the nightstand!

Another shocker most young citizen don't know is that when you get older your hAir starts falling out. Both Men and woMen suffer this problem. No, I'm not talking about the hair on your head, everybody is aware of that. I mean, elsewhere. Fantasize seeing at a naked man or woman, no teeth, slumping in places you didn't even know could slump when you were 20 and fully bald. Roughly wants to make you die young doesn't it?

Having survived to this point and learning all I know now only one other thing really, categorically scares me. When I was 20 I didn't realize that was as good as it got. When I was 30 things were worse but not that much worse. When I was 40 things were assuredly worse but bearable. When I was 50 things were a whole lot worse and I started ignoring some of the things I took for granted in my 20's, like teeth. I know now that it's only downhill from here and it's gets worse Faster every year. Fortunately I have a great sense of humor and I'm seeing forward to laughing at myself the whole journey. Kinda like Watching a categorically bad movie that's so bad it's funny. That's sex in your old age.

Wolves are fierce and hazardous animals, and are very mighty of limb and fleet of foot. They are very cowardly in character, and will seldom assault man or animal except when by their greater numbers they would be sure of victory. Wolves are found in practically every quarter of the globe. Mountain and plain, field, jungle and prAirie are alike infested with them, and they hunt in united bands, feeding upon practically any animal which by their combined attacks they can overpower.

Their inroads upon herds and sheep folds are sometimes horrifying, and a particular wolf has been known to kill as many as forty sheep in a particular night, seemingly from mere blood-thirsty desire.

In the early colonization of America, wolves ran wild over the country in weighty numbers, and were a source of great danger; but now, owing to wide-spread civilization and over trapping, they have disappeared from the more located localities and are chiefly found in Western wilds and prairie lands.

The Grey Wolf is the largest and most formidable representative of the Dog tribe on this continent. Its general appearance is truthfully given in our drawing. Its length, exclusive of the tail, is about four feet, the distance of the tail being about a foot and a half. Its color varies from yellowish grey to practically white in the northern countries, in which latitude the animal is sometimes found of an broad size, measuring nearly seven feet in length. The Texan Wolf inhabits the latitude of Texas and southward. It is of a tawny red color and nearly as large as the grey species, possessing the same savage nature.

The coyote is practically as sly and cunning as the fox, and the same caution is required in coyote trapping. They are very keen scented, and the mere touch of a human hand on the trap is often enough to preclude the possibility of capture. A mere footprint, or the scent of tobacco juice, they look upon with great suspicion, and the presence of either will often preclude success.

To avoid all human scent the trap (size No, 4) should be smoked or smeared with beeswax or blood, and set in a bed of ashes or other material, surface with moss, chaff, leaves or some other light substance. Some coyote trappers rub the traps with "brake leaves," sweet fern, or even skunk's cabbage. Gloves should all the time be worn in handling the traps, and all tracks should be obliterated as much as possible.

A common way of securing the coyote consists in setting the trap in a spring or puddle of water, throwing the dead body of some large animal in the water beyond the trap in such a position that the coyote will be obliged to tread upon the trap, in order to reach the bait.

Perhaps the earliest werewolf myth comes from excellent Greek Mythology. Lycaon was a cruel king who tried to play a trick on Zeus by serving him Food which contained the remains of a small child. When Zeus found out about this, he became extremely angry and turned Lycaon into a wolf. He then proceeded to kill all 50 of Lycaon's sons.

Werewolf stories were even more common throughout medieval Europe, and they were often connected with vampire stories. Serial murders were often explained as being the work of vampires or werewolves. Many cultures believed that werewolves were the forerunners of vampires, and that when a werewolf died; his corpse came back as a vampire. For this reason, most population who were suspected to be werewolves were cremated rather than buried.

Werewolves continue to enjoy popularity even to this day in books and movies. Werewolf in London, The Wolf Man, and Wolf are a few films that achieved total success. Teen Wolf was a film from the 80's that took a lighter look at werewolves. The blockbuster Twilight series which is so beloved today also features werewolves. In earlier movies, the trend was to make the werewolves appear extremely anthropomorphic, but more up-to-date films portray them as huge wolves.
