The Long Fangs are the older veteran soldiery of the Space Wolves lesson of space marines. They get their name because when Space Wolves live a very long time their canines grow longer. This is where the Long fangs get their name. They wield the heaviest weapons available to the wolves. It's a common site to see missile launchers, laser cannons, plasma cannons and more, among their ranks. They positively are the heavy weapons experts of the wolves.

The Long Fangs can do one thing very well. That is devastate soldiery and tanks a like. This unit can be armed to take out Infantry or armor. Most habitancy can't deal with ranged heavy weapons and close combat. The Space Wolves are very good at both and if you learn to time both well, no one will be able to stand before you.

Lastly, there are a integrate ways you can use your Long Fangs. You can use them to withhold your other soldiery that are advancing. You can also sit back and blaze away at enemy vehicles. Just make sure to protect these guys. They tend to get pounced on by infiltrators and other sorts of Fast attack. They are great when your Infantry looks like it could be in trouble, then you take your Long Fangs and withhold them with some heavy plasma cannon shots. That'll ruin your opponents day anytime.
